Preparation

Your plastic surgeon will be giving you detailed instructions regarding both pre-operative & post-operative care. Please make sure you thoroughly read and follow these instructions in preparation for your surgery. Please bring instructions, along with anything else needed, with you to your recovery, so our nurses may take proper care of you.

Here are a few BEFORE surgery procedures you might want to follow:

• Do not take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications.
  
• If you smoke, stop smoking for at least 2 weeks pre-op
  
• Obtain a copy of your doctor’s protocol.
  
• Fill any prescriptions before surgery.
  
• On the day of surgery, wear loose clothing. They will be easy to get off and on after the operation
• Follow your physician’s directions carefully regarding
  medications, eating & drinking, etc.
